Hi, I am Ashley Chapman

As a busy mother of four, photography has been both a passion and a therapy for me. I find joy in capturing the moments that tell a story, whether it's a candid shot of my kids playing or a portrait of a family embracing. It's the little things that matter most, and nothing takes me back to those special times like revisiting a cherished photograph.

From an early age, I've always had a fascination with cameras and their ability to freeze fleeting moments. My first memory of photography was with a disposable camera when I was 18, just out of high school, visiting my aunt in Seattle, WA. I was mesmerized by all the beautiful landscapes and architecture.

Years later, when my first child was born, my passion for photography was reignited. I couldn't help but capture every moment of her life, from her first steps to her first day of school. I quickly realized that being a mother makes you see the world through a different lens- one that is focused on the pure and simple moments in life.

As my family expanded and my photography skills grew, I started taking on clients who wanted to capture their own special moments. I found immense satisfaction in capturing memories for other families, knowing that the images I created would be treasured and passed down for generations to come.

Through my lens, I strive to capture raw emotions, the beauty of imperfection, and the essence of life. Each photograph I take tells a unique story, and I feel honored to be able to capture and preserve these moments for my clients.

Photography has become an integral part of my life, not just as a career but as an extension of who I am. It's an art that allows me to capture the beauty of life, love, and nature. I believe that a photograph is not just a snapshot, but a way of holding on to what matters most-the memories we want to treasure for a lifetime.
